Here's where it all began. Founder Troy Campbell heard his friend Ray Wylie Hubbard's hilarious story and knew it needed to be animated. He was introduced to animator Dano Johnson and illustrator Jose Luis Gonzalez and the rest is Collection Agency Films history. The short film went on to win Runner-Up, Best Animated Short at SXSW 2006 and play other film festivals. As we like to say, it all started with dog humping...

We love making educational videos that are fun and informative. That's why Collection Agency Films was excited to work with Paul Bernhard Exhibits to create videos for the Energy Hall of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas,Texas. Here are excerpts from our 5-screen wide entry-way video, an explanation of the Barnett Shale, and a catchy song explaining hydraulic fracturing.

This hilarious piece of audio, in which a cop calls 9-1-1 after ingesting some unusually strong pot-brownies, was already viral when CurrentTV contacted Collection Agency Films about making it into a cartoon. The resulting animation also went viral and was our first cartoon to be internationally broadcast!

This was Collection Agency Film's entry into Aniboom & Sesame Street's "Animate to Educate" competition. Although we didn't win, we were so proud to have been in the top 10 for weeks. Chumples & Luna are still available for parties and educational television!

Collection Agency Films animated another viral 9-1-1 phone call for Yahoo's Sketchy webseries. We love working with archival or 'real' audio and the results are always hilarious. This spot garnered thousands of views, comments, and shares with a side of fries.

Collection Agency Films contributed several fun animated segments to the feature documentary "Happiness Is...". Director Andrew Shapter had several needs - an animated intro to match his voiceover as well as several segments where the documentary audio was better served by animation.

Collection Agency Films partner Dano Johnson co-wrote, co-directed, and animated this award-winning adaptation of Edwin A. Abbott's classic mathematical fantasy.
